A total of 13 vitamins are known, 4 of which are fat soluble (A, D, E and K) and 9 soluble in water (All B vitamins and C). The fat-soluble vitamins can be stored in the tissue of your body. That means that you have to be careful how much extra you take of it. this is not the case or is much less so in water soluble vitamins. you just urinate too much of that. An exception is B12, so you have to be careful not to get too much of it.

We call the other part of minerals electrolytes (positively and negatively charged). The electrolytes are important for maintaining the correct acidity in our body.
